Shallow Water Strawberry Sponge

Igernella notabilis

 Red or dark pink lobed sponge with small raised bumps. Generally found in shaded areas, between rock faces and undersides of slopped walls.  6-12 inches in diameter. This is not the same Strawberry Sponge found at depths of 35 feet or more.
