This section does NOT include small fish like goby, blenny, etc. Here you will find fish that have one or more vertical bars of color, either solid or broken, on their bodies. For some species, the bars may not always be displayed, as in the case of the Sheepshead Porgy, which can almost instantly change from dark bars on a mottled background color to almost pure silvery-white.
